David – I'm using both Tweetdeck and CoTweet for our company's Twitter activities and both work pretty well.

LinkedIn, in either the free or paid editions are the greatest “Contact Discovery Tools” if you have sales reps doing outbound prospecting.

I made a free web app that provides “advanced searching” of linkedin here: http://peopletoucher.com/search

Chris, this looks like a very nice tool. I will recommend that my portfolio companies take a look. Thanks!

David, just coming up for air and enjoying your blog. I would recommend adding LoopFuse (http://www.loopfuse.com) to your Marketing Automation category. I wrote a little piece on them here: http://opensourceadvisory.com/wordpress/?p=1086.

Disclosure: I have no current or prior financial relationship with LoopFuse, Inc; I just like their software and pricing model.

Take a look at Pardot (pardot.com). They fit the niche of marketing automation and lead nurturing tools.

Thanks Vladik. I have been aware of them, but it's useful to have them on the list. This marketing automation space is full of players, and feels ripe for consolidation.

    Best, David

We moved to Genius back in May. As we are tightly managing the business with SFDC, Genius is a wonderful tool that sits on your actual SFDC database.

Thanks for the input, Susan. Much appreciated.
